The Basics

: Signing up is quick and free. Click on the profile icon at the top of the page, then click on the button at the bottom of the form to create your account. We’ll send you an email to verify your email address. Click on the link in that email, and you’re good to go.

: This is the official destination to shop pre-loved and League of Friends products. We offer this store as part of our circularity efforts to ensure that our products remain in use as long as possible.
: Producing clothes has a meaningful impact on the environment. We’re working hard to minimize that impact, but we need your help. By simply keeping an article of clothing around nine months longer, the environmental impact of that item is reduced by 20 – 30%!

: Purchases can only be shipped to addresses within the United States.

: Wishlists are fun and easy way to keep tabs on listings that you like, but aren’t quite ready to buy. By adding items to your wishlist, you may receive exclusive discount offers from the people selling those items.
: You can add items to your wishlist by clicking on the heart icon on any listing. You can review the contents of your wishlist under the wishlist section of your account, which is found under “Purchases”.
: f you’re signed into your account, you can remove an item from your wishlist by clicking on the heard icon on that listing. Items in your wishlist will appear with a heart icon that is shaded in. You can also remove items from your wishlist from the wishlist section of your account, which is found under “Purchases”. Click on the three dots icon for the item, and select the option to remove it from your wishlist.
: No. All sales are final and cannot be returned.

Trade-Ins

: Trading in your clothes is a great opportunity to keep your clothes in use (and out of landfills) longer. For each accepted item that you trade in, you’ll also earn credit to purchase new products from us.
: We accept any of our products so long as they are in like new or gently used condition, except for items that fall into the categories listed below. Not all items may be eligible for credit though. Please be sure to check their worth below.

: We evaluate the condition of items to ensure that they meet our quality standards. Items should be in excellent or like new condition. If an item can’t be repaired, cleaned, or resold you will receive partial credit of $4.00, unless that item’s original credit value is zero. Please note that once you ship an item to us, we cannot return it for any reason.
: An item’s credit value is based on what type of item it is and its condition. You’ll earn the trade-in credits listed below for each item that passes our review. If an item does not pass our review, you’ll earn $4.00 instead, unless that item’s credit value is zero (as shown below).

If a shipping fee applies, it will be shown to you before you finalize your trade-in. Any shipping fees will be deducted from the total value of your trade-in. However, so long as your trade-in contains at least one item whose credit value is greater than zero, you’ll always earn at least $5.00 per submission (regardless of the number of items contained in that submission). If these amounts are not acceptable to you, do not submit your trade-in.

: Trading-in your clothes is easy! Here’s how:

Start by clicking on the “Trade In” button at the top of the page or on the homepage.

Sign into your account, or create a new account.

If your purchase history contains items that are eligible for trade-in, you’ll be able to add these items first by clicking on the plus icon in front of each item.

If you don’t have a purchase history, of if you want to trade in other items, you’ll be able to do so using our online catalog. Search for your item by name or description, provide any additional required information, and click “Review Trade-In”. If you have more than one item to trade in, select “Add Another Item” instead to add the next item.

Review your trade-in. This is where you’ll see the estimated credit value and any shipping charges.

If everything looks good, complete your trade-in.
: Absolutely! You can trade-in anything that is listed in our online catalog, even if you didn’t buy it directly from us, including pre-loved items.
: No. We are unable to return items that you send to us for any reason, including if you disagree with our decision to reject an item. If you’re not ready to permanently part with an item, do not submit it for trade-in.
: We do our best to process trade-ins as quickly as possible, but please allow 7- 10 business days for us to do so. You’ll receive an email as soon as we process your trade-in.
: Trade-in credits will be issued to you in the form of a gift card that can be used to purchase new products at https://leagueoffriends.nyc. Your gift card will be sent to you by email.
: Our goal is to extend the lives of these items as much as possible. That usually means reselling items so that they can be continued to be used. In some cases we may donate items to charity. Items that are beyond repair will be recycled, whenever possible. Everything else will be discarded as responsibly as possible.
